This isn’t about escaping, as wonderful as vacations may be — it’s about finding small ways to experience more ah-h-h, every day.
Our values are habits of the heart
A life that allows you to thrive is one where you live out your values daily.
Our Personal Values
“A value is a belief, trust, or conviction considered to be true, desirable, and inherently worthwhile.”
Our values function like a compass, guiding our life.
Every day we create our life through our choices, actions, and habits. When we live our values, our energy is higher, our creativity flows and life feels almost effortless, and we experience immense satisfaction and well-being. And if we don’t, we get off target.
We’ve all been there — getting results, but not thriving
Whether it’s working too much, agreeing when we really don’t, or silently stuffing our longings—in the moment, we’ve traded ‘what we value’ for ‘something else.’ We know this because we feel frustrated, angry, dissatisfied, depressed, embarrassed, etc.
If you aren’t doing what’s important to you or don’t know what that is anymore, isn’t it worth considering why not?
Check-in with yourself. How are you feeling? Are you satisfied, with a sense of meaning and worth?
If so, keep smiling!
If not, isn’t that worth a closer look?
The question becomes, what can we do?
We do have choices, even if we feel we don’t. And it starts by practicing in small ways so we gain the experience to face more consequential choices calmly and clearly, be more purposeful.
Imagine
What if … your priorities aligned with your values?
Imagine what your day might look like, how you might feel.
I sense you’re smiling!
To do this, we need to
know what’s important, what matters, what we value – now
use our values to guide our choices, actions, and habits every day
as circumstances change, consider how to balance in the moment to enhance life.
A closer look

About Gatherings
Gatherings offer a simple, sociable, structured way to expand our self-awareness and discover possibilities. The gatherings are intended to support each other around a topic of interest.
past November, holiday conversations that healed divisions and deepened relationships
past December, balancing the past and present to reclaiming joy in the holiday season
January, discovering more ah-h-h every day
upcoming February, expanding your social circle
upcoming March, weaving your safety net
These gathering are free, hosted by me, because these topics are important to me and, hopefully, you. I welcome your suggestions.
Each gathering consists of a conversation with questions that prompt awareness and open us to possibilities about that month’s topic. Conversations follow the agreements for Living Room Conversations (livingroomconversations.org). For those interested, a take-home worksheet is provided to delve deeper into the topic and prepare for the next gathering. You only share with the group what you feel comfortable sharing.
The number of gatherings each month depends on the topic, as do the dates and times. Gatherings are posted on my website (C3LifeCoach.com/events/), Facebook (fb.me/wisechoices), and printed in the Town Reminder. Please RSVP by emailing or calling me, Pat.
